Women's Panties - A Taboo Subject?

Women's underwear is a subject that I have never heard discussed among women, but I think the time has come.

How on earth is size 7 considered 'Large' and size 8  considered 'Extra Large'?

Where, in any other women's garment, is size 7 considered Large?  I know that over the years, when downsizing after pregnancy or other weight gain, I have rejoiced at seeing size 7! Many women I know actually make it down to a size 3 but I probably haven't worn that number since I was 11, so to me, size 7 is a victorious goal…until I go to buy undies! I'm thinking of circulating a petition to  Hanes urging them to reconsider their sizing policy...
If I do, will you sign it?

The Proof is in the Pudding…or in this case in a Good Night's Sleep

The Proof is in the Pudding…or in this case in a Good Night's Sleep.

My husband, who's lost over 25 pounds following Ketones Aren't From Motown keeps reading that sleep is crucial in weight loss. This weekend he did a little unplanned experiment which seemed to prove this point.  He had been 'good' all day Friday but had a lousy night sleep. In the morning he weighed himself to see that, even after being 'good',  he hadn't lost an ounce.  Saturday, Valentine's Day, he splurged a little - not a lot, but a little here and there.  Saturday night he had a full night's sleep and awoke Sunday to see he'd lost weight!  Now some might argue that the lack of calories might have caused the poor night's sleep or that the extra carbs promoted a better night's sleep, but in my husband's case I don't think it's true. He had an assignment due for an online class, which caused his restless night Friday. Completing the assignment allowed for a peaceful night Saturday.  His experiment may not be the Pudding's 'Proof' but it is Food for Thought.  Perhaps getting more ZZZ's will help you lose a few oz.'s!
