The Proof is in the Pudding…or in this case in a Good Night's Sleep.
My husband, who's lost over 25 pounds following Ketones Aren't From Motown keeps reading that sleep is crucial in weight
loss. This weekend he did a little unplanned experiment which seemed to prove
this point. He had been 'good' all day
Friday but had a lousy night sleep. In the morning he weighed himself to see
that, even after being 'good', he hadn't
lost an ounce. Saturday, Valentine's
Day, he splurged a little - not a lot, but a little here and there. Saturday night he had a full night's sleep
and awoke Sunday to see he'd lost weight!
Now some might argue that the lack of calories might have caused the
poor night's sleep or that the extra carbs promoted a better night's sleep, but
in my husband's case I don't think it's true. He had an assignment due for an
online class, which caused his restless night Friday. Completing the assignment
allowed for a peaceful night Saturday. His
experiment may not be the Pudding's 'Proof' but it is Food for Thought. Perhaps getting more ZZZ's will help you lose
a few oz.'s!
Good observation & one feels so much better having had good/sound sleep.
